MAINTAINING FRONT LINE SECURITY MORALE: PEER TO PEER TEAM MORALE PROGRAM
The global pandemic has taken a mental health toll on everyone; and one of the most impacted groups is the front line security teams. This presentation will provide an overview of the new normal that security leaders and teams face; and discuss several solutions that security leaders may want to deploy to improve morale.
SPEAKER BIO
Tom Stutler is the Vice President of Security Operations with Cadillac Fairview, where he currently manages programs that include access control, business continuity, occupational health, investigations, physical security and visitor management.
Mr. Stutler started his career 27 years ago as a prosecutor in Tampa, Florida then he went to work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where he focused on counterintelligence, theft of trade secrets and economic espionage. He was also an adjunct professor for national security issues at the FBI Academy, and an adjunct instructor at a military base for cryptology and related topics. After the FBI, Mr. Stutler spent 8 years practicing law and developing large scale real estate projects globally, then transitioned into security management roles.
Mr. Stutler is an active member of ASIS; has served in various volunteer leadership roles including Chapter Chairman and the Investigation Council Vice Chair. He has been published several times in the ASIS Security Management Magazine, and has been a guest speaker at ASIS/GSX conferences in US, UK and Europe.
