About this Event
Join us on March 18th for an informative session on Engaging Emotional Intelligence to Improve mental Health presented by Dietrich Desmarais
The focus of the session will be to provide the attendees with a few tools that they can enact and share with their teams to help address and manage issues such as mental fatigue, fear and disconnection, which have heightened due to the pandemic. The learnings from this session will support individuals as well as teams to function with more unity, clarity and shared approaches. By the end of the session, individuals will go away with some EQ inspiration and a few resources that they did not know beforehand. Dietrich’s teachings have a neat way of showing up in ways that are both obvious and subtle.
Topics that will be covered:
– Introduction to emotional intelligence.
– Reframing views on “being emotional” as a strength rather than a weakness.
– Shifting from a fear-based to desire-based mindset.
– Emotional intelligence soft skills (e.g. self-aware and self-reflect, emotional regulation, learning to “suffer well”).
